Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC) in Milano seeks an ASPP/HSE professional to support occupational safety across our industrial projects in Italy. You will assist in risk assessments, procedures, contractor oversight, training, incident analysis and maintaining HSE documentation.

The role requires English at least B2, knowledge of Italian legislation, and the ability to collaborate with the RSPP and site teams. Hybrid working is offered with a permanent contract in Milano.

Competenze

• Upper secondary diploma or higher; degree in Occupational Safety or related field advantageous.
• ASPP education and training requirements per Legislative Decree 81/2008; NEBOSH Diploma recognized advantageous.
• 1–2 years' experience in ASPP/HSE in industrial, construction or shipbuilding sectors preferred.
• English language at least B2; knowledge of Italian safety legislation; ability to manage HSE documentation.

Mansioni

• Support the RSPP in identifying risk factors and assessing risks at workplaces and activities.
• Contribute to risk assessments, prevention measures, procedures and improvement plans.
• Monitor compliance with Legislative Decree 81/2008 and company policies, and with HSE management system requirements.
• Carry out workplace inspections and follow up on findings and corrective actions.
• Support management of contractors and suppliers from an HSE perspective, including documentation review.
• Assist Projects in fulfilling health and safety obligations; support training and awareness initiatives.
• Contribute to incident analysis, near-miss reviews and corrective actions; assist internal audits and safety meetings.
• Maintain HSE documentation managed by the SPP.

Saipem Offshore Construction (SOC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Saipem S.p.A.

SOC brings together all operational activities in Italy related to fabrication, technical services, maintenance, and logistics, providing essential support for the execution of offshore construction and offshore wind projects.

Purpose of the position:

How can you support us?

• support the RSPP in identifying occupational health and safety risk factors and in assessing risks associated with workplaces and work activities;
• contribute to the development and updating of risk assessments, prevention and protection measures, operating procedures and improvement plans;
• monitor compliance with applicable Italian occupational health and safety legislation, with particular reference to Legislative Decree 81/2008, as well as with Company policies and HSE Management System requirements;
• carry out workplace inspections and support the follow-up of findings, corrective actions and improvement opportunities;
• support the management of contractors and suppliers from an occupational health and safety perspective, including the review of relevant documentation and coordination requirements;
• supports Projects in the fulfillment of the health and safety obligations;
• contribute to the preparation of worker information and training programmes and support safety communication and awareness initiatives;
• support the analysis of incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions, helping to identify causes and define preventive and corrective actions;
• contribute to emergency preparedness, internal audits, periodic safety meetings and the maintenance of the occupational health and safety documentation managed by the SPP.

What are we looking for?

Education:

Upper secondary school diploma or higher qualification. A bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Safety, Prevention Sciences, Engineering or a related field will be considered an advantage.

Professional qualification:

Possession of the education and training requirements applicable to ASPP pursuant to Article 32 of Legislative Decree 81/2008, appropriate to the risks associated with the role will be considered an advantage, as well as the possession of the certification as "Coordinatore per la Sicurezza in Fase di Progettazione ed Esecuzione dei Lavori" or any recognized international certification (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma).

Background:

Previous experience of 1–2 years in the same or a similar ASPP/HSE role within industrial, construction or shipbuilding companies will be considered an advantage.

Languages:

English, minimum B2 level.

Technical/IT Knowledge:

Sound knowledge of Italian occupational health and safety legislation, with particular reference to Legislative Decree 81/2008; good command of Microsoft Office applications and ability to manage HSE documentation and reporting.
