BCIC Swiss GmbH is seeking a Hardware Support Technician for an on-site, full-time role in Italy. The position focuses on hardware break-fix, on-site spares management, installations, and delivering excellent customer service.

Candidates should have several years of IT experience and hold a valid work permit for Italy. The role involves troubleshooting across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile devices, with networking and asset-management duties on-site.

Competenze

• Experience with Desktops, Laptops, Printers, and mobile devices.
• Strong Windows desktop OS knowledge and business productivity apps.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Mansioni

• Provide hardware break fix support, typically by whole unit swap.
• Manage spares provided on site.
• Execute installations and changes.
• Deliver an excellent level of customer service.
• Adhere to defined processes and work instructions including escalations.
• Interface with end users, management, VIPs and local staff.

• Tag and record assets in the asset management system.
• Provide weekly inventory and outbound hardware reports.
• Coordinate repairs with external suppliers.

Description

BCIC Swiss GmbH | Best Connect International Company is looking for a (Full time | On-site) "Hardware Support Technician" in Italy.

Responsibilities

• Provide hardware break fix support, typically by whole unit swap
• Manage spares provided on site
• Execute installations and changes
• Deliver an excellent level of customer service
• Adhere to defined Processes and work instructions which will include the management of both proactive and reactive escalations
• Interface with multiple levels of end users, management, ‘VIPs’ and local technical staff.
• Troubleshoot issues on multiple computer platforms: Macintosh, Windows, Linux, and mobile devices
• Knowledge of network configurations: LAN, WAN, Wireless, VPN, and VLAN
• Responsible for asset tagging and entering all incoming equipment into our asset management system
• Provide weekly reports on physical inventory counts as well as record weekly outflows of hardware equipment
• Work with external Suppliers to schedule repairs for damaged/malfunctioning hardware

Requirements

• Must hold a valid work permit in Italy
• Several years of experience in the IT field
