Mercor is seeking a native Gujarati speaker to join our data annotation team. You will identify and bound every meaningful region on complex pages, assign types, and ensure precise reading order across multi-column layouts and handwritten content.

You will transcription faithfully in Gujarati, flag illegible text, and review work through a second Gujarati expert. This role emphasizes character-level accuracy and systematic, consistent taxonomy across hundreds of pages in a document AI training

Competenze

• You are a native Gujarati speaker with full command of the Gujarati script, including diacritics and conjunct forms.

Mansioni

• Open and check a task: ensure the page is Gujarati, legible, contains real content and no personal details.
• Annotate structure: bound every meaningful region and assign a component type and reading-order index.
• Record relationships: link regions to their parent figure or table identifiers.
• Transcribe faithfully: reproduce all Gujarati text exactly as shown, flagging unreadable regions.
• Capture page metadata: language, document type, source, page dimensions, and handwriting/table flags.
• Review a colleague's work: undergo second-expert review and ensure accuracy on first submission.
