Job summary

Xylem is seeking a Business Development Manager – WSS Vertical Expansion to drive growth across Europe in Industrial and Municipal markets. You will shape go-to-market strategies, expand channel partnerships, and advance water and wastewater solutions with rental and capital sales opportunities.

The role requires 7+ years in BD or sales within industrial settings, a strong English proficiency, and willingness to travel up to 50% across Europe.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing or Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in business development, sales or market expansion in industrial sectors.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead BD initiatives to grow Xylem WSS market presence in Europe across Industrial and Municipal sectors.
• Identify, develop and execute new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Develop go-to-market, channel expansion and vertical growth strategies.
• Conduct market analysis on customer needs, competitors, and EU legislation.
• Forecast demand for rental assets and capital sales products.
• Support product-line growth through pricing, launches and end-to-end solutions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations and regional teams.
