Deel is seeking a Payroll Implementation Manager in Italy to lead end-to-end implementation and data migrations for clients internationally. You’ll own onboarding, define payroll processes, configure systems, and drive go-lives with strong client interaction.

This hands-on, external-facing role shapes how customers scale payroll across multiple countries. You will collaborate with HR, Finance and IT to gather requirements, manage scope, and deliver on time and budget, while ensuring compliance

Competenze

• 5+ years in global payroll implementation and operations.
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance for designated location.
• Experience with payroll systems and software.
• Client-facing project management experience and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Requirements gathering for onboarding and payroll setup.

Mansioni

• Lead end-to-end implementation and data migration of Deel’s global payroll.
• Set up projects with onboarding teams and clients, creating and maintaining project plans.
• Manage client and internal project reviews, adjust scope and delivery timelines.
• Define payroll processes and data requirements, manage client payroll calendars.
• Maintain project documentation including plans and status reports.
• Configure interfaces, reports, and system settings for parallel and live payroll.
• Lead go-live, sign-off, and client-specific process validation with documentation.
• Communicate as the primary payroll project contact; escalate issues as needed.
• Oversee end-to-end implementation to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
• Gather client requirements with HR and Finance, guiding complex onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with local tax and labor laws, including data migration and security.
