Job summary

The Oberalp Group is seeking a proactive Junior Logistics Specialist to join our Logistics department in Bolzano, Italy. You will support daily inbound and outbound shipments, coordinate with carriers, and ensure accurate transport documentation within our international supply chain.

You will collaborate with Customer Operations, Sales, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Demand Planning, using ERP/WMS/TMS systems and Excel to monitor transport activities and drive cost-efficient logistics processes.

Qualifications

• University degree in Engineering, Economics, Logistics, or related field, or a high school diploma with relevant work experience.
• Previous experience in logistics, customs, warehousing, or similar environments requiring structured planning and accurate execution is advantageous.
• Fluent in Italian and English; knowledge of German is a plus.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP, WMS, or TMS systems is a plus.
• Problem-solving attitude and hands-on approach.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and monitor all inbound and outbound shipments in line with company requirements.
• Monitor daily transport activities and resolve transport-related issues.
• Coordinate communication with logistics service providers and transportation partners.
• Support coordination between Customer Operations, Sales, Warehouse, Purchasing, and Demand Planning.
• Prepare and manage customs-related transport, import, and export documentation.
• Coordinate return orders and replacement shipments.
• Verify logistics invoices and ensure accurate cost allocation.
• Prepare logistics reports and support KPI analysis.
• Participate in supply chain projects and support process improvement initiatives.
