Job summary

Sidel, a global leader in food, beverage, and personal care packaging solutions, is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, commission and service high-tech equipment at major industrial clients across Europe.

You will travel extensively (often >80%), train client operators, perform diagnostics, and collaborate with project managers while upholding safety rules and delivering solutions that keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Technical degree in automation, mechatronics, electrotechnics, or industrial maintenance.
• Fluent in English to work in a multicultural team.
• Strong motivation to learn and adapt to international environments.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and test Sidel equipment, including single machines and whole production lines.
• Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical and automated systems.
• Execute diagnostics and share feedback with internal support teams.
• Administrate equipment upgrades and software/hardware updates.
• Collaborate with project managers and technical support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Train client operators and maintenance technicians for safe handling.
• Report aftersales opportunities detected on customer sites.
• Comply with safety rules and communicate clearly during interventions.
