Job summary

Nordson Packaging is seeking a Technical Customer Engineer in Italy to provide on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for packaging equipment in the North-West Piedmont region. Frequent travel within the territory is required.

Qualifications

• Electronic/electrical qualification with relevant field experience, packaging sector preferred.
• 3–5 years in industrial service or equipment installation is required.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting is required.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills for complex equipment.
• Good understanding of electromechanical, electronic and networked systems.
• Proficient reading and application of technical docs and service procedures.
• Fluent Italian and English in verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities in a fast-paced field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, SAP C4C and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support and service at customer locations in North-West Piedmont.
• Install, configure, maintain, and repair equipment per procedures.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and system issues quickly.
• Document service activities and findings as required.
• Manage customer service requests and prioritize tasks to meet commitments.
• Collaborate with Sales to identify service opportunities and revenue targets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships with professional communication.
• Provide technical guidance and basic user training as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, and company policy compliance during field work.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and service inventory.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest product improvements.
