Job summary

Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. is seeking a Global Contract Segment Specialist to support the Contract Management function within the Transformer Segment globally.

You will work with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Sales, and Supply Chain across geographies, providing end-to-end contract lifecycle guidance with an analytical and autonomous approach. You will negotiate contracts, ensure adherence to procedures, and contribute to risk and opportunity assessments.

Qualifications

• Law degree is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management, legal, or related business.
• Experience supporting the contractual execution of large and complex projects.
• Experience within Data Centre is highly preferred.
• Strong negotiation skills with ability to influence customers, commercial stakeholders and senior management.
• Fluent English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel globally approximately 30-40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end assistance and guidance for the entire lifecycle of the contract.
• Ensures contract management activities align with Company/BU directives and procedures.
• Conducts contract and claims negotiations and settlements.
• Reviews and comments on commercial tender terms and conditions; analyzes prime contract terms for opportunities and risks.
• Negotiate contracts.
