HITACHI ENERGY ITALY S.P.A. in Milan, Lombardy, Italy, is seeking a Global Contract Segment Specialist to support contract management across the Transformer Segment.

You will work with Project Managers, Contracts Managers, Sales and Supply Chain across geographies, bringing analytical, hands-on, and autonomous execution. The role requires a law degree, 10+ years in contract management or legal roles, strong negotiation and stakeholder management, and willingness to travel globally about 30-40%

Qualifications

• Law degree is mandatory.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in contract management, legal, or related field.
• Experience supporting the contractual execution of large and complex projects.
• Fluent English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
• Willingness to travel globally approximately 30-40% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end assistance for the entire contract lifecycle in accordance with directives.
• Ensure contract portfolios follow standard contract and claim management methodologies.
• Conduct contract and claims negotiations and settlements for the Segment.
• Review commercial tender terms, highlight risks, and negotiate contracts.
