Job summary

Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. in Milan seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead complex energy and infrastructure projects on site from mobilization to handover. You will ensure safety, schedule, cost control and quality while coordinating engineers, subcontractors and customers.

The role requires a degree in engineering, proven on-site leadership, and fluency in English. You will travel across domestic and international project sites, driving timely delivery and strong stakeholder relationships

Qualifications

• Degree or technical diploma in relevant engineering or construction field.
• Significant site-based construction management experience.
• Proven track record leading complex industrial projects.
• Experience with subcontractors, suppliers and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of construction, installation, testing and commissioning processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead all site activities from mobilization through commissioning and handover.
• Coordinate with project managers, customers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Maintain safety culture and compliance with standards.
• Plan, organize and monitor site activities to meet schedules.
• Act as primary on-site contact for customers and authorities.
• Support cost control, change management and commercial performance.
• Lead and develop site personnel fostering collaboration.
