Haier Europe is offering a six-month paid internship for a Global Indirect Procurement BuyerIntern. The role is based in Italy with hybrid working options and includes 800 euro per month, meal tickets and a company PC.

The ideal candidate is a student or recent graduate in management, economics or marketing with fluent English and Italian, and solid Excel skills. You will assist in defining procurement strategies, RFQs, vendor reviews and contract support.

• Assisting in the definition of procurement and purchasing strategies aimed at optimizing value.
• Supporting communication and coordination with internal stakeholders to help identify and define operational business needs.
• Participating in the RFQ process, including supplier scouting, communication follow-up, offer evaluation, and support in defining project deliverables, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Collaborating with the legal department in the drafting of contracts and helping manage related purchase orders.
• Contributing to the identification of new suppliers to support strategic supply base optimization and purchase analysis.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of cost reduction initiatives through reviews of vendors, materials, and contracts.
• Gathering and monitoring market trends relevant to assigned categories.
• Supporting risk identification activities and contributing to mitigation planning.

What you will do
