Haier Europe is offering a six-month paid internship for a Global Indirect Procurement BuyerIntern in Trieste, Italy. The role involves supporting procurement strategy, RFQ activities, supplier management, and cost-reduction initiatives, with English and Italian language requirements.

The program includes a monthly stipend of 800 euro, meal tickets, smart working options, and a company PC. This is an opportunity to contribute to strategic sourcing while learning in a dynamic IoT ecosystem.

Competenze

• Student or neo graduate in management, economics, marketing or similar fields.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English and Italian.
• Proficiency in Excel and data handling.

Mansioni

• Assist in defining procurement and purchasing strategies to optimize value.
• Support communication with internal stakeholders to identify operational needs.
• Participate in RFQ processes: supplier scouting, offer evaluation, define deliverables, SLAs, KPIs.
• Collaborate with legal to draft contracts and manage purchase orders.
• Identify new suppliers to support supply base optimization and spend analysis.
• Contribute to cost reduction initiatives through vendor, material, and contract reviews.
• Gather and monitor market trends for assigned categories.
• Support risk identification and mitigation planning.

What you will do

We are looking for a Global Indirect Procurement BuyerIntern to join us. Specifically, the candidate will carry out, among others, the following activities:

• Assisting in the definition of procurement and purchasing strategies aimed at optimizing value.
• Supporting communication and coordination with internal stakeholders to help identify and define operational business needs.
• Participating in the RFQ process, including supplier scouting, communication follow-up, offer evaluation, and support in defining project deliverables, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Collaborating with the legal department in the drafting of contracts and helping manage related purchase orders.
• Contributing to the identification of new suppliers to support strategic supply base optimization and purchase analysis.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of cost reduction initiatives through reviews of vendors, materials, and contracts.
• Gathering and monitoring market trends relevant to assigned categories.
• Supporting risk identification activities and contributing to mitigation planning.
