Haier Europe is offering a Global Indirect Procurement Buyer Intern position in Italy. The role involves assisting in procurement strategies, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and supporting RFQ activities, supplier scouting, and contract drafting.

You will help identify new suppliers and contribute to cost reduction initiatives while monitoring market trends. The ideal candidate is a student or recent graduate in management, economics or marketing, fluent in English and Italian, with

What you will do

We are looking for a Global Indirect Procurement BuyerIntern to join us. Specifically, the candidate will carry out, among others, the following activities:

• Assisting in the definition of procurement and purchasing strategies aimed at optimizing value.
• Supporting communication and coordination with internal stakeholders to help identify and define operational business needs.
• Participating in the RFQ process, including supplier scouting, communication follow-up, offer evaluation, and support in defining project deliverables, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Collaborating with the legal department in the drafting of contracts and helping manage related purchase orders.
• Contributing to the identification of new suppliers to support strategic supply base optimization and purchase analysis.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of cost reduction initiatives through reviews of vendors, materials, and contracts.
• Gathering and monitoring market trends relevant to assigned categories.
• Supporting risk identification activities and contributing to mitigation planning.

Who we are looking for
