Haier Europe is seeking a Global Indirect Procurement Buyer Intern for a six-month paid internship. The role involves assisting in procurement strategy, supplier scouting, RFQ processes, and contract support, with a focus on cost reduction and market trend analysis.

The ideal candidate is a student or recent graduate in management, economics, or related fields, fluent in English and Italian, with good Excel skills. The internship offers meal tickets, smart working, and a company PC.

• Assist in defining procurement and purchasing strategies to optimize value.

• Collaborate with legal in contract drafting and manage purchase orders.
• Help identify new suppliers to support supply base optimization.
• Contribute to cost reduction initiatives through vendor, material, and contract reviews.
• Monitor market trends relevant to assigned categories.
• Support risk identification and mitigation planning.

What you will do

We are looking for a Global Indirect Procurement BuyerIntern to join us. Specifically, the candidate will carry out, among others, the following activities:

• Assisting in the definition of procurement and purchasing strategies aimed at optimizing value.
• Supporting communication and coordination with internal stakeholders to help identify and define operational business needs.
• Participating in the RFQ process, including supplier scouting, communication follow-up, offer evaluation, and support in defining project deliverables, SLAs, and KPIs.
• Collaborating with the legal department in the drafting of contracts and helping manage related purchase orders.
• Contributing to the identification of new suppliers to support strategic supply base optimization and purchase analysis.
• Assisting in the development and implementation of cost reduction initiatives through reviews of vendors, materials, and contracts.
• Gathering and monitoring market trends relevant to assigned categories.
• Supporting risk identification activities and contributing to mitigation planning.

Who we are looking for

We offer a six-month paid internship

800 euro/month, meal tickets, smart working, company pc
