Grand Circle Corporation seeks experienced Tour Leaders to guide base and extension itineraries across Italy for 2027. The freelance role requires a Patentino da Accompagnatore Turistico, fluent English and Italian, and deep knowledge of Italian destinations.

You will prepare travelers before trips, manage arrangements, deliver engaging commentaries, and build learning activities while ensuring a high standard of safety and hospitality.

Qualifications

About the Role

Grand Circle Corporation is seeking experienced Tour Leaders (Trip Experience Leaders) to guide base and extension itineraries for Grand Circle Travel and Overseas Adventure Travel (O.A.T.) throughout Italy in 2027.

• Availability: 2027 Full Availability
• Patentino Accompagnatore: A valid "Patentino da Accompagnatore Turistico" is mandatory to lead tours in Italy. You'll need to present it if selected for the next stage.
• Contract: This is a freelance (libero professionista) position.
• Languages: Fluent English and Italian required, with solid knowledge of your assigned itinerary.

What We Require

• Fluent English & Italian, excellent communication and presentation skills
• At least 5 years of residence in Italy (if not Italian)
• Strong knowledge of Italian destinations, local history, culture, and wildlife
• Understanding of American travelers and culture
• Creative, resourceful team player with leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Enthusiasm and passion for sharing life experiences and discussing cultural insights
• Minimum 2 years' experience escorting groups preferred (not required)
• International work experience a plus
• 24/7 availability during tours
