BCD Travel in Milan is seeking a Financial Controller/Junior Controller to join the finance team. You will manage month-end closings, forecasts, budgeting, and support the senior finance manager with strategic insights.

This is a full-time hybrid role: remote in Milan with 1 day per week in the office, plus occasional in-person collaboration. Proficiency in SAP FI/CO, BPC, BW or AS/400 and strong Excel skills are essential.

Competenze

• Degree in Economics or Finance or equivalent experience.
• Experience as a financial or business controller.
• Proactive, able to inform and advise your manager on controlling activities.
• Advanced Excel and SAP knowledge (FI/CO, BPC, BW).
• Fluent in English and Italian.

We are looking for a Financial Controller/Junior controller (depending on experience) to integrate the financial controlling department. You will take care of month-end closings, full year outlooks, forecast and budgeting tasks. In this role, you will get to know our business from a financial viewing angle, and support the senior finance manager with valuable information, to steer the company in the right direction.

What You'll Do

• Monthly analytical closing process for one country in EMEA


• Preparation of various data and analytics business controlling reports


• Financial planning, budget, and monthly rolling forecast


• Support the business daily


• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities of costs savings and efficiency improvements


• Take part in different functional workgroups and projects


• Work on temporary projects like aligning the financial reporting between countries


• Support in financial audits

What You'll Bring

• Degree in Economics or Finance (University/College) or equivalent experience


• Prior experience as a financial or business controller


• Ability to complete tasks assigned independently and to inform and advice your manager with regards to controlling activities


• Relevant work experience and knowledge of SAP FI&CO/ SAP BPC/ SAP-BW or AS/400 is a strong benefit


• Strong numeric and analytical skills and capable of analyzing processes


• Excel skills should be advanced


• Good command of written and spoken English and Italian


• Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines


• Be a team player


• Accuracy with strong attention to detail


• Proactive mindset


• BI systems knowledge (big database analyses)

• Italy: 30,000 - 38,000 EUR

The final salary offered will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and location, and will be determined in line with internal equity.
