Job summary

Ingersoll Rand Compressor Systems & Services seeks a Field Service Technician for Italy. You will install, troubleshoot, and support compressed air products at customer sites, educate clients on operation, and coordinate with Service and Sales teams. Strong diagnostic capabilities and travel readiness are essential.

Responsibilities include on-site maintenance, reporting, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure quality service and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry (mechanical, chemical, plant design, installation).
• Daily travel within Italy and Europe to customer sites.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours for urgent interventions.
• English language skills at level B1 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation at customer sites.
• Install new systems at customer locations per schedule with Service Coordinator.
• Prepare and maintain tools for service interventions.
• Report technical issues and coordinate follow-ups with customers and internal teams.
• Provide detailed activity reporting to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Service Support, Quality, and Technical Support teams.
