Job summary

Ingersoll Rand plc is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, service, and troubleshoot compressed air systems at customer sites across Italy. You will educate customers on product functionality and coordinate with Service and Sales teams to address issues.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing, willingness to travel within Italy and Europe, and basic to intermediate English. A dynamic, safety-conscious environment with growth opportunities awaits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry (mechanical, chemical, plant design, installation).
• Willingness to travel daily within Italy and Europe (as required).
• English language skills: Basic to intermediate (B1) level for technical communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical maintenance, repair, and installation activities at customer sites following procedures and safety guidelines.
• Install new systems at customer locations according to a shared schedule with the Service Coordinator.
• Prepare and maintain assigned tools to ensure efficiency in all service interventions.
• Report technical issues and coordinate follow-up with customers and internal teams.
• Provide detailed activity reports to customers and internally across multiple functions.
