A leading machinery manufacturer is seeking a Field Service Engineer to oversee the installation and maintenance of packaging machinery across Italy. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical skills and a background as a mechatronics technician, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the industrial packaging sector. Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) – Region Italy

We are looking for a Field Service Technician responsible for the installation, commissioning, routine and extraordinary maintenance, and overall technical support of packaging machinery at customer sites across Italy, with occasional international travel as well as at our production center in Germany.

The technician provides consultancy on conversions, upgrades, and modernization of machinery. Machine operator training is provided. The technician works independently or as part of a team, ensuring efficient and professional service.

Key Requirements

• Full training as a mechatronics technician, electronics technician, industrial mechanic, or similar (preferably with technical background)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the industrial packaging sector as a field service engineer
• Willingness to travel in Italy and abroad
• Strong technical skills, including diagnosing and resolving mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic troubleshooting; reading electrical schematics and mechanical drawings; using measuring instruments and workshop equipment; basic knowledge of PLC systems (preferably Siemens and Allen‑Bradley)
• Fluent English language written and spoken
• Driving license Category B
