Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. is seeking a senior verification professional to support pre-sales demos, benchmarks, and proof-of-concept work for European customers.

You will deploy and troubleshoot verification tools, and collaborate with R&D to translate customer needs into actionable improvements. You will bring hands-on RTL verification experience, strong knowledge of static/formal/dynamic verification (SpyGlass, VC Formal, VCS, UVM), and proficiency in Verilog/SystemVerilog.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, CS, or related field.
• 5+ years in the semiconductor industry at an EDA company or semiconductor design company.
• Hands-on RTL verification experience.
• Strong knowledge of static, formal, or dynamic verification tools.
• Proficiency in Verilog and SystemVerilog.
• Linux familiarity and scripting (Tcl, Python, Perl or shell).
• Fluent English; Italian language skills are a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support pre-sales demos, benchmarks, and proof-of-concept work for verification solutions.
• Deploy and troubleshoot verification tools post-sale with customer engineering teams.
• Deliver technical workshops and training on verification technologies.
• Engage with R&D to communicate customer needs and reproduce issues.
• Build trusted relationships with engineering and management at semiconductor companies across Italy and Europe.
