You will assist with reservations, liaise across departments, and contribute to daily operations, with training and career development opportunities in a renowned luxury hotel group.

Competenze

Excellent communication skills; fluent in Italian and English.
Excellent organizational and computer skills.
Additional foreign language literacy is a plus.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the F&B Department in Milan, the F&B Reception Intern is responsible for support company's philosophy and company culture through the use of Pillars of Legendary Quality Experiences on a daily basis to ensure Guest Satisfaction and the achievement of our Mission statement. The F&B Reception Intern reports to the Restaurant Manager.

As F&B Reception Intern, you willbe responsiblefor the following duties:

Welcoming and seating guests according to MO standards
Presenting the menu correctly to each guest
Ensuring that the guest is satisfied with their stay
Handling guests' special requests, anticipating their needs
Handle guest complaints
Take reservations accurately, if necessary, keeping track of guest preferences
Support in setting up the bar/restaurant service stations
Handle all bar/restaurant guest reservations and requests in a timely manner.
Liaise within the department and with other hotel departments.
Participate in daily meetings
Carry out all administrative tasks assigned by the managers
Review and reply to email correspondence.
Handle basic operations of the department, mainly reservations from multiple channels

As F&B Reception Intern, weexpectfrom you:

Excellent communication skills and fluent in both written and spoken Italian and English
Excellent organizational and computer skills
Another foreign language literacy is a plus
