Mandarin Oriental, Milan is seeking a F&B Reception Intern to join our F&B team. Based at the Milan property, the intern will support guest services, reservations and daily operations.

The role requires excellent communication in Italian and English, strong organizational and computer skills, and a willingness to learn in a luxury hospitality environment. Pocket money between 500€ and 600€ per month, with training and meals at employee restaurant.

Competenze

• Excellent communication skills and fluent in both written and spoken Italian and English.
• Excellent organizational and computer skills.
• Another foreign language literacy is a plus.

Mansioni

• Welcoming and seating guests according to MO standards
• Presenting the menu correctly to each guest
• Handling guests' special requests, anticipating their needs
• Handle guest complaints
• Take reservations accurately, if necessary, keeping track of guest preferences
• Support in setting up the bar/restaurant service stations
• Handle all bar/restaurant guest reservations and requests in a timely manner.
• Liaise within the department and with other hotel departments.
• Participate in daily meetings
• Carry out all administrative tasks assigned by the managers
• Review and reply to email correspondence.
