Mandarin Oriental, Milan is seeking a Finance intern to join the Finance team in Milan. You will assist in processing invoices, payments and reports, support AR activities, and help maintain accurate financial records under supervision of the Director of Finance.

The role requires studying or recent graduation in Finance, Accounting, or related fields, with English and Italian communication, and a proactive, organized approach. Pocket money and meals are provided to support learning.

Competenze

Currently studying or recently graduated in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

To assist in processing invoices, payments, and expense reports in accordance with established procedures
To support accounts receivable activities, including billing, follow‑up, and collections
To assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
To support the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations
To assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and management analysis
To support budget tracking and assist in variance analysis
To assist in internal audits and compliance processes
To collaborate with operational departments to ensure accurate financial reporting

About The Job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Milan within the Finance Department in Milan, the Finance intern is supporting the supplier accountant officer and cost controller. The Finance intern reports to the Director of Finance.

As Finance Intern

To assist in processing invoices, payments, and expense reports in accordance with established procedures

As Finance Intern, We Expect From You

To be currently studying or recently graduated in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
To communicate effectively in both English and Italian, written and verbal
To have basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
To exhibit a proactive, organized, and professional approach
To show strong numerical ability and accuracy in handling financial data
To demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks in a structured manner
