A language education institution in Trieste is seeking an energetic English teacher to join their team. The role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for working with children. You will prepare engaging classes, monitor student progress, and build strong relationships with students and families. This part-time position includes a fixed-term contract with opportunities for renewal and potential increased hours.

Overview

For our school in Trieste we are looking for an energetic and fun English teacher to join our team!

Requirements to fit the role

• A positive attitude and an energetic “can do” approach to children’s learning.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Well organized with good time management skills.
• Flexibility with work hours and availability.

What you'll do

• Prepare your classes using Kids&Us’ lessons, music, games, stories and arts and crafts.
• Monitor your students’ progress and guide learners towards their goals.
• Develop strong, meaningful relationships with students, their families, and your peers and mentors to support the growth of the children.
• Communicate in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.

We Offer

Fixed-term contract (CCNL Aninsei – Level V) until June, with the possibility of renewal, including permanent employment.

Initial commitment of 6 hours per week, with the possibility of increasing up to a maximum of 12 hours per week.

Scheduled Working Hours

• Tuesday: 5:40 – 6:40 pm
• Wednesday: 4:30 – 6:30 pm
• Thursday: 4:35 – 5:35 pm
• Saturday: 9:40 am – 12:25 pm

Possible overtime close to the scheduled hours and on Friday/Saturday afternoons for special events (trial lessons, workshops on-site or with partners).

Requirements

• Excellent knowledge and fluent command of the English language, with correct pronunciation.
• Passion for working with children, including very young ones.
• Dynamic, creative, and motivated person for activities and events.
• Accuracy and diligence in applying our method, supported by guides and initial training.

Plus: availability in the mornings during public school holidays (summer/winter camps).
