Job summary

Vertiv seeks a Strategic Account Tech Sales Engineer, EMEA, to provide technical support for the Thermal Management portfolio to strategic customers in Piove di Sacco, Italy and London. You will build proposals, quotes, and tenders, and align solutions with customer requirements where standard products do not fit.

You’ll work with a large team of Application Engineers and Technical Sales Experts, travel may be required, and success depends on technical depth in HVAC and data center markets along

Qualifications

• Solid technical background in mechanical, electrical, energetic or aerospace engineering.
• HVAC expertise in air conditioning or refrigeration industries.
• Fluent in English and Italian with strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide presales technical support by reviewing RFx and customer specs.
• Coordinate with factory engineering for technical requests.
• Design and deliver innovative solutions to gain competitive advantage.
• Create and present product/applications to customers and consultants.
• Lead internal trainings and external customer trainings.
• Travel as needed to meet customers and events.
