Vertiv is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, test, and support application control software for HVAC and refrigeration systems in Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy. You will work in the ETO team, collaborating with electrical, mechanical, software, validation, and manufacturing groups to deliver standard and customer-specific solutions.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, 2+ years of experience in controls, and knowledge of Modbus/BACnet/CAN/EtherNet/IP.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in controls and automation equipment.

Mansioni

• Analyze requirements and contribute to functional specs.
• Design, develop, test and support control software for HVAC/refrigeration systems (PLC/industrial controllers).
• Verify and validate software against requirements.
• Diagnose issues in lab, production, and field; propose improvements.
• Maintain technical documentation: SOO, functional descriptions, control logic, specs.
• Define requirements for HMI, networks, and protocols.
• Support cross-functional teams in development and validation.
