Vertiv is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Piove di Sacco, Italy. The role involves working on thermal cooling units for data centers, focusing on innovative electrical designs and collaborating with suppliers to ensure top-quality products.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree, over 3 years of experience in electrical design, and proficient knowledge of relevant electrical standards. The position may require travel between the Italian HQ and a plant in Slovakia.

Competenze

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as an electrical designer, preferably in the HVAC industry.
• Strong understanding of active and passive filters for harmonics mitigation and power factor correction.
• Intermediate English level – written and spoken.

Mansioni

• Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team on thermal cooling units.
• Design new products or re-engineer existing ones focusing on electrical design.
• Create and review product documentation (E-CAD drawings, specifications).
