Saipem is seeking a Drilling Proposal Manager to lead tendering for drilling commercial activities. You will report to the head of Commercial Coordination and coordinate proposal activities across teams.

Responsibilities include creating marketing and tender docs, defining bid scopes with clients and partners, and driving cost estimation, cash flow and bid submissions. Travel abroad is required for project-facing interactions.

Competenze

• Degree in Engineering, Economics or related field (master’s or bachelor’s preferred).
• Several years of experience in Proposal Manager, Tendering or Commercial roles in Oil & Gas or Drilling.
• Fluent English required to interface with clients and partners.

Role Overview

As Drilling Proposal Manager, you will report to the head of Commercial Coordination and lead the tendering process for Saipem Drilling commercial activities.

• Plan and coordinate proposal activities, including organising commercial kick‑off meetings when required.
• Ensure preparation of marketing and tender documentation in line with company procedures and client requirements.
• Manage interfaces with clients and partners and define scope of work for all parties involved in the bid.
• Analyse contract requirements and lead cost estimation, cash‑flow definition and proposal submission to the client.
• Manage post‑bid clarifications, support negotiations and contribute to bidding strategy, market analysis and identification of opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Engineering, Economics or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Several years of experience as Proposal Manager / Tendering / Commercial roles within the Oil & Gas or Drilling industry.
• Fluent English required (ability to interface with clients and partners).
• Technical skills: contract management and negotiation; cost estimation and cash‑flow analysis; market analysis and competitive positioning; tendering strategy and commercial processes; knowledge of partnership frameworks (JV, MoU, consortia).

Travel

You will need to travel abroad based on the projects you work on and during drilling operations, interacting with international clients, partners and internal departments.
