Generali invites an IT Disaster Recovery Specialist to strengthen ICT resilience within GOSP and across the Generali Group. You will design, execute, and maintain disaster recovery strategies across multiple technology layers to assure business continuity in line with DORA.

You will lead DR plan development, coordinate cross-site tests, and manage DR documentation while collaborating with international teams to ensure rapid recovery in nine critical scenarios defined by regulatory guidance.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, IT, information security, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Disaster Recovery projects.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure including networks, backup systems, NAS, Linux/AIX environments, databases, cloud services, and security measures.
• Experience coordinating DR tests and managing DR documentation.
• Familiarity with DORA regulation and its implications on DR planning and testing.
• Fluent in English.

Job Description

GOSP provides shared services to the Group companies, with Head Office in Italy and branches in 7 European countries, a total staff of about 1.000 people.

The Disaster Recovery Unit ensures ICT resilience across Generali's infrastructure

The Disaster Recovery Unit within GOSP is seeking a technically skilled IT Disaster Recovery Specialist to strengthen the resilience of our ICT infrastructure. This role is essential for ensuring business continuity in alignment with the DORA regulation and involves designing, executing, and maintaining disaster recovery strategies across multiple layers of technology.

You'll be part of a technically focused, cross-country team dedicated to ensuring organizational resilience.

• Develop and update ICT Response and Recovery Plans (Disaster Recovery Plans) for GOSP and its customers.
• Coordinate and support DR Test sessions across multiple data centers.
• Manage and update DR procedures, DR mapping, and team member roles.
• Lead the creation and testing of ICT Response and Recovery Plans for nine critical scenarios as defined by DORA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, Information Security, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Disaster Recovery projects.

• Experience in coordinating DR tests and managing DR documentation.
• Familiarity with DORA regulation and its implications on DR planning and testing.
