A digital voting technology firm based in Milan is seeking a Digital Marketing Strategist & Analytics Lead. In this remote full-time role, you’ll create and manage digital marketing campaigns, utilizing platforms like HubSpot and SEMrush. The ideal candidate has over 3 years of digital marketing experience, is fluent in English and Spanish, and has strong data analysis skills. You will lead SEO strategies, manage performance metrics, and contribute to a forward-thinking team focused on creativity and collaboration.

We’re looking for a hands‑on Digital Marketing Strategist & Analytics Lead to join our team. You’ll plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns, using data to guide decisions and improve performance across channels. Using tools like HubSpot, Semrush, Google Analytics (and other Google Ads tools), you’ll manage the full website positioning, data analytics and growth campaign.
This role reports directly to the CEO and includes reporting to International Marketing.
·Define and execute SEO strategies to grow organic traffic, boost search engine rankings, and increase visibility of our multilingual website (Italian, English, Spanish and Portuguese).
·Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and market assessments to identify growth opportunities. Oversee both on‑page and off‑page SEO, including technical audits, link‑building, content optimization, site architecture, schema, plugin maintenance, and page speed improvements. Lead or mentor the SEO team, coordinating with cross‑functional partners (content, web development, digital PR).
·Monitor and analyze SEO performance via platforms like Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush and report regularly on KPIs and campaign effectiveness.
·Adapt strategy in response to changes in algorithms or best practices, ensuring sustained competitive advantage.
·Manage technical SEO directly in WordPress using Elementor and leading SEO plugins (e.g., Rank Math/Yoast), including configuration of meta tags, XML sitemaps, schema markup, and redirects.
·Optimize site performance and Core Web Vitals by improving page speed, media compression, caching, and mobile responsiveness within the Elementor environment.
·Maintain clean site architecture and crawlability by managing internal linking, fixing indexation issues, 404s, and canonicalization, and coordinating implementation with developers when needed.
Oversee ongoing WordPress maintenance from an SEO perspective, including plugin updates, HTTPS and redirect settings, and resolution of technical errors flagged in Google Search Console and other tools.
·Design and manage sophisticated automation workflows across HubSpot to support marketing, sales alignment, and customer success.
·Setup and optimize workflow triggers, lead scoring, segmentation, and CRM data flows for lifecycle communications and lead nurturing.
·Personalize interactions and automation touchpoints based on customer behavior and data, improving campaign reach and effectiveness.
·Analyze key metrics (traffic, conversion rates, CAC, LTV) using Google Analytics, HubSpot, SEMrush and other analytics platforms to identify performance trends and optimization opportunities across all digital channels.
·Design and execute data‑driven growth strategies, including funnel analysis to identify drop‑off points, A/B testing for conversion optimization, and audience segmentation to improve lead generation and customer acquisition.
·Monitor campaign performance in real‑time, track ROI and key KPIs, generate regular performance reports, and implement data‑based adjustments to improve results and reduce acquisition costs.
- Experience: 3+ years – max 7 years in digital marketing, with expertise in campaign management (webinars, funnels, email campaigns) and marketing operations. Experience in internationalization is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HubSpot, SEMrush (or equivalent), Google Analytics and other marketing technologies (CRM, automation tools).
- Data-Driven Mindset: Strong ability to analyze campaign performance data and translate findings into strategic improvements.
- Languages: Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required; proficiency in Italian or Portuguese is a plus.
