Job summary

Airswift is seeking an Italian-speaking Deskside Support Technician to support a large Windows device refresh and user migration across Genova and Riva Trigoso, Italy. The role is a 2-month contract with a daily rate, freelance setup, and no sponsorship.

You will reinstall Windows 10/11, configure Intune Autopilot, assist with data migration, and provide deskside support across two sites, ensuring timely ticket updates and strong user service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' IT Support/Deskside Support experience.
• Experience with Windows 10/11 deployments and device refresh projects.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Experience with ticket management systems.
• Italian-speaking with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform Windows 10/11 reinstallations and Windows 11 deployments.
• Complete Intune Autopilot staging and device configuration.
• Support end users with data migration and user setup activities.
• Execute device wiping and asset management processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, network, and peripheral issues.
• Provide deskside support and excellent customer service.
• Accurately manage tickets and incident updates through a ticketing system.
• Support Microsoft 365 environments and Active Directory administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform Windows 10/11 reinstallations and Windows 11 deployments.
• Complete Intune Autopilot staging and device configuration.
• Support end users with data migration and user setup activities.
• Execute device wiping and asset management processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, network, and peripheral issues.
• Provide deskside support and excellent customer service.
• Accurately manage tickets and incident updates through a ticketing system.
• Support Microsoft 365 environments and Active Directory administration.

Must-Have Skills:

• Minimum 3 years' IT Support/Deskside Support experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune Autopilot and device deployment.
• Microsoft 365 and Active Directory knowledge.
• Basic LAN, Wi-Fi and VPN troubleshooting experience.
• Hardware diagnostics for laptops, desktops and printers.
• Experience with ticket management systems (ServiceNow preferred).
• User data backup, restore and migration experience.

Nice-to-Have:

• SCCM experience.
• Exchange administration knowledge.
• Android, iOS and macOS support experience.
