Jobgether is seeking a Deputy Chief Data Officer (Deputy CDO) based in Italy to lead a global data and analytics function within a product-driven technology organization. As second-in-command to the CDO, you will guide data engineering, ML, product analytics, UX research, and experimentation, combining strategic leadership with hands-on ownership.

Competenze

• 7+ years in data, analytics, or machine learning within product-focused tech companies.
• 4+ years of leadership experience managing skilled specialists, managers, and team leads.
• Experience as Chief Data Officer, Deputy CDO, Head of Data, or Head of Analytics is desirable.
• Ambition to grow into a CDO role with hands-on day-to-day execution responsibilities.
• Broad understanding of data, research functions, analytics, A/B testing, ML lifecycles, data platforms, SLAs, BI, self-service analytics, and unit economics.
• Deep practical expertise in at least one major data domain with ability to coordinate across the wider data ecosystem.
• Proven track record delivering cross-functional data and ML initiatives with measurable business outcomes.
• Strong operational management skills: planning, decomposition, resource allocation, backlog prioritization, risk management.

Mansioni

• Translate strategic priorities into measurable results with operational excellence across the Research Center.
• Lead executive stakeholders to align priorities, negotiate resources and timelines, and manage trade-offs with data-driven arguments.
• Oversee data and analytics initiatives including data platform development, ML projects, experimentation, UX research, and data quality improvements.
• Identify and resolve delivery bottlenecks; clarify scope, assign ownership, and escalate risks early to keep initiatives on track.
• Manage capacity, resources, and backlogs across multiple teams; coordinate ML, backend, product, and analytics dependencies.
• Establish and maintain operating framework: monthly reviews, quarterly planning, project reviews, retrospectives, dashboards.
• Translate strategic initiatives into measurable business objectives, benefits, ROI, and performance against plans.
• Support and strengthen team leads across Product Analytics, Data Engineering, ML, and UX Research.
