Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Staff Data Analyst based in Italy to own analytics for a global travel marketplace. You will build data foundations, transform complex data into actionable insights, and partner with senior stakeholders to shape product priorities.

You will develop data models, pipelines, and analytical products while introducing product analytics and experimentation capabilities for better adoption and conversion.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in data analytics or analytics engineering.
• Proven experience partnering with senior Product, Engineering, or business leaders.
• Hands-on expertise in dbt modeling, data pipelines, and end-to-end analytical solutions.
• Ability to transform fragmented datasets into reliable data products.
• Strong understanding of product analytics, user behavior, and business impact.

Responsibilities

• Own analytics across the customer-facing business, including enterprise partners, self-service customers, and API adoption.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to define analytical priorities and translate questions into data-driven decisions.
• Build and maintain dbt models and data pipelines for trusted reporting.
• Establish standardized metrics and reporting frameworks for consistent product and business insights.
• Analyze customer journeys, API usage, and booking behavior to improve activation and retention.
• Develop analytics capabilities and experimentation frameworks to measure impact.
• Investigate marketplace data across products and systems to uncover trends and opportunities.
• Lead analytics initiatives from discovery to adoption with minimal oversight.
• Leverage AI tools to accelerate development while maintaining data quality.
