Salesforce is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer with strong Data 360 expertise to implement real-time data solutions inside enterprise environments. You will configure, build, test, and deploy Data 360 across ingestion, identity, and activation, enabling robust data foundations for Agentforce projects.

You will work with architects and customer teams to deliver scalable, secure data pipelines, advanced AI grounding, and reliable operations in production sandboxes and client environments.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or technical implementation.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Data 360 (Data Cloud) across ingestion, modeling, identity, insight, activation, and operations.
• Hands-on experience building data pipelines and integrations using enterprise data platforms or technology such as Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, Redshift, Kafka.
• Proficient in SQL and able to build, debug, and optimize multi-table queries and transformations.
• Fluent in Apex, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript and willingness to learn others.

Mansioni

• Build in customer environments: configure and develop in sandboxes and production with Data 360 configuration, SQL, Apex, Flow, Python, REST API, and deployment tooling.
• Engineer the data layer: ingestion, harmonization, and identity resolution across sources; optimize views for app and analytics workloads.
• Prove it works: create test data and validate outcomes across paths, edge cases, and large volumes.
• Ground the agents: design and maintain AI data integration layer (RAG, vector databases, knowledge bases).
• Orchestrate agent communication: implement MCP and agent-to-agent protocols for collaboration.
• Connect the ecosystem: implement scalable, secure data integration patterns connecting Agentforce to enterprise apps.
• Govern the data: ensure secure integration, transformation, and governance of data across Salesforce ecosystem and external systems.
• Build for scale and security: apply event-driven architectures and secure auth protocols (OAuth, SAML).
• Debug the hard problems: troubleshoot ingestion failures, mapping defects, and schema drift with logs and evidence.
• Own implementation decisions: compare techniques, document tradeoffs, and hand to architect or TL.
• Accelerate with AI: leverage Data 360 APIs and MCP to automate build and reduce time to value.
• Co-build and hand off: work with customers and partners, submit reusable metadata, scripts, tests, and runbooks.
