Job summary

Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to own the guests’ experience related to cleanliness and visual impressions onboard. You will drive premium service delivery with outstanding hospitality, communication, and organizational skills, while maintaining accountability for maintenance and cleanliness across the ship.

The role requires leadership, training and crew management capabilities, and a strong focus on results, guest satisfaction, and adherence to SQM and USPH standards.

Qualifications

• Two to three years progressive Housekeeping managerial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical handling and safety procedures.
• Knowledge of talent assessment techniques, quality service standards and guest satisfaction, development of crew/ management.
• Knowledge of HR policies and practices.
• Familiarity with software such as Excel, Word and related programs (SQM, OCIMS, Fidelio, LGA, Medallia, Kronos).
• Understanding of budgeting, cost containment, inventories and planning.
• Proven results oriented management style with emphasis on training and leadership development.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer and personal service including needs assessment and problem resolution.
• Experience with progressive disciplinary action through coaching to improve performance.
• Ability to negotiate and resolve problems diplomatically.
• Flexibility to manage a dynamic housekeeping operation in changing environments.
• Pass Omnia Assessment for Behavior and Cognitive.

• Lead and develop housekeeping team to deliver premium service.
• Ensure compliance with SQM standards, USPH guidelines and brand standards.
• Communicate across levels to maintain a positive working environment and performance.
• Manage budgets, inventories and future orders for housekeeping operations.
• Coach and discipline staff to improve performance and service quality.
• Maintain strong floor presence and ensure consistent guest service outcomes.
