Four Seasons Hotel Firenze in Florence, Italy, is seeking a passionate Concierge to join our service-driven team. You will use local knowledge and personalized service to create memorable experiences for our guests, handling requests from everyday needs to extraordinary discoveries.

With at least one year of Concierge or Front Desk experience in luxury hospitality, you will collaborate with the Front Desk and Guest Services teams, maintain up-to-date local information, and build relationships

Qualifications

• One year experience as Concierge or Front Desk in luxury hospitality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and outgoing personality.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi task.
• Previous knowledge of the city of Florence is preferred.
• Proficiency in Italian and English; third language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service with professionalism and hospitality.
• Assist guests with hotel services, hours, events, transport, directions, and local attractions.
• Provide personalized recommendations of Florence and surrounding areas.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and escalate when needed.
• Process packages, mail, and other correspondence accurately.
• Maintain up-to-date information on restaurants, museums, transport, and events.
• Build relationships with local partners for reservations and experiences.
• Record guest preferences and billing info in hotel systems.
• Support Front Desk and Guest Services during peak periods.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

About The Role

Four Seasons Hotel Firenze is seeking a passionate and service-driven Concierge to join our team. As a Concierge, you will play a key role in creating exceptional and memorable experiences for our guests. Leveraging your local knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to personalized service, you will assist guests with everything from everyday requests to unique and extraordinary experiences, ensuring their stay in Florence is truly unforgettable.

What You Will Do

• Deliver exceptional service by handling all guest interactions with the highest level of professionalism, courtesy, and hospitality.
• Assist guests with inquiries regarding hotel services, operating hours, in-house events, transportation, directions, and local attractions.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations based on your knowledge of Florence and surrounding areas.
• Resolve guest concerns and complaints promptly and professionally, escalating matters to management when necessary.
• Process incoming and outgoing packages, messages, mail, and other correspondence accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain up-to-date information and collateral relating to restaurants, museums, cultural sites, transportation options, and local events.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local partners and vendors to facilitate reservations, ticketing, and exclusive experiences for guests.
• Utilize hotel systems and software to accurately record guest preferences, special requests, and billing information.
• Handle internal and external telephone calls and provide support in the absence of the Switchboard Operator.
• Collaborate closely with the Front Desk and Guest Services teams, providing assistance during peak periods when required.
• Support departmental operations and perform additional duties as assigned by the management team.

What You Bring

• A minimum of one year experience as Concierge and/or Front Desk experience in luxury hospitality.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, an outgoing personality and a can-do approach to any request.
• Attention to detail, the ability to multi task and good problem solving skills are required.
• Previous knowledge of the city of Florence is preferred.
• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Italian and English language. A third language is a plus.

Schedule & Hours

Fixed-term and full time contract.

The position is at the C1 level of the Tourism Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL), with a starting gross annual salary aligned with the contract’s minimum standards and opportunities for growth based on experience.
