Walker Lovell Ltd is seeking a Commercial Excellence & AI Specialist to transform how the business manages customers, pricing, forecasting and pipeline. You will own the implementation from concept to delivery, shaping tools and processes that directly enhance commercial performance.
This hands-on role requires building and deploying practical AI solutions, optimizing data flows, and delivering dashboards with strong BI capabilities.
Location: Europe – with regular travel to Northern Italy
Join a private equity-backed international business at a point where it is investing heavily in growth, systems and commercial capability.
This is a newly created role with genuine scope to build rather than inherit. You’ll shape how the business uses CRM, pricing, analytics, automation and AI, with direct exposure to senior leadership and ownership from idea through to implementation.
Our client is an established international B2B business operating across multiple global markets.
Backed by private equity and entering a significant growth phase, the company is investing in its commercial organisation, systems and technology to create a more structured, data-driven and scalable platform for future growth.
As Commercial Excellence & AI Specialist, you will improve how the business manages customers, pricing, forecasting, pipeline and commercial data.
You will assess the current setup, identify the biggest opportunities and then personally build and implement the tools, systems and processes needed to improve commercial performance.
This is not a strategy-only role. You will be expected to get into the detail and make things work in practice.
We’re looking for someone who has personally built and implemented commercial tools, rather than only advised on them.
A strong analytical or quantitative academic background is preferred. Previous experience in agriculture, chemicals, specialty materials or industrial markets would be useful but is not essential.
The role can be based elsewhere in Europe, but regular travel to Northern Italy will be required, particularly during the initial phase.
Some additional international travel will also be expected.
