Job summary

Hotel La Palma in Capri, part of Oetker Hotels and partner of Casa Tua, seeks a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You will coordinate dish preparation within your section, ensuring high culinary standards and smooth day-to-day operations under the guidance of the Executive Chef.

The ideal candidate will manage cooks, control ingredient quality, stock, and hygiene, and collaborate with the team to maintain consistency and presentation, even during busy service periods;

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating kitchen sections and guiding junior staff.
• Strong organizational, time-management and leadership skills.
• Solid understanding of food safety and HACCP procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation of dishes within your assigned section and ensure high culinary standards.
• Follow directives from Executive Chef and supervise cooks and subordinates.
• Monitor and control quality of ingredients, manage stock and maintain hygiene.
• Structure tasks and workflow with Executive Chef; ensure consistency, presentation and efficiency.
• Support kitchen operations during peak service periods and maintain clear team communication.
