Vodafone in Italy is seeking a skilled engineer to provide secondary support for the online charging solution within the Italy Services Operation team. You will ensure resilience, collaborate with operations, drive maintenance, and guide troubleshooting to prevent outages.

With 2+ years in telecom, you will manage vendors, support deployment of new technologies, and participate in 24x7 on-call activities to meet KPIs.

Competenze

• University degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or Information Technology.
• Min. 2 years of experience in Telecommunications in a similar role.
• Hands-on experience with Telco service components and protocols.
• Fluent in English and Italian; strong communication skills.

Mansioni

• Provide secondary support for the online charging solution and ensure resilience of services.
• Coordinate with first-line operations and drive proactive maintenance to prevent outages.
• Manage vendor interactions for technical support and deployment of new technologies.
• Perform incident troubleshooting and remediation with vendor escalation to restore service.
• Conduct health checks and proactive maintenance to optimize network performance.
• Address customer complaints within SLA and provide end-to-end tracing and debugging.
• Analyze traffic and service trends to diagnose issues and guide improvements.
• Share knowledge to raise technical skills across deployment and operations teams.
• Plan and upgrade service components with aim of reducing incidents and enabling onboarding.
