Vodafone Group Plc in Italy is seeking a 2nd level support specialist for the online charging solution. You will perform troubleshooting, proactive maintenance, and coordination with vendor and engineering teams to ensure service continuity.
The role emphasizes problem-solving across 2G/4G/5G networks, telco components, and modern service platforms, with a focus on meeting KPIs and maintaining high reliability.
Within Italy Services Operation team the candidate will be responsible of 2nd level support of online charging solution.
Within the team, the role is responsible of reactive and preventive maintenance and support of engineering and delivery teams in deploying new technologies and services ensuring that the implementation respects resiliency and monitoring standards. The role defines guidelines and performs trouble‑shooting activities as well as maintenance routines to avoid outages and guarantee service continuity with incidental service restoration. Out of hours support if necessary being part of a 24 x7 standby rota.
In collaboration with 1st Line Operations teams, work out procedures related to the analysis of alarms in order to detect and eliminate faults. Perform data configuration, software rollout and support integration activities with planning and delivery functions. The Specialist manages the vendor for technical support services and interacts with Engineering and other Operation teams to provide Network stability to meet and exceed the expected performance KPIs.

The starting salary will be at least €35.500 € + PDR.
This figure represents the starting point only, and the final offer will be dependent on your individual skills, experience and potential assessed during the process, and the benchmarking information for the position’s reward level.
