Job summary

JINGDONG Logistics in Milan, Italy seeks an Experienced Hire Business Development Manager to lead European market growth and sales of integrated logistics solutions. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, building a strong pipeline, and delivering customized logistics proposals across Europe.

You will manage end-to-end sales cycles, coordinate with Operations, Finance, Legal and Product teams, and identify incremental opportunities within existing accounts, while monitoring market trends

Responsibilities

• Lead new customer acquisition across the European market, building and continuously expanding a strong customer pipeline.
• Proactively develop prospects through cold calling, LinkedIn, email outreach, industry events and customer visits.
• Identify customer needs across warehousing, transportation, fulfillment, distribution and supply chain management.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships while continuously expanding business opportunities and account value.
• Sell JD Logistics’ integrated logistics solutions across Europe, including: International ocean and air freight and cross-border logistics, European warehousing, B2B/B2C fulfillment, E-commerce fulfillment and distribution, European line-haul and last-mile delivery, Returns and reverse logistics, Bulky / oversized and specialized logistics, Warehouse automation and supply chain solutions.
• Develop customized logistics solutions and commercial proposals in collaboration with Operations, Product and Solution teams, based on customers’ business models, shipment volumes, SKU profiles, warehousing and delivery requirements.
• Manage key accounts and drive complex logistics projects from opportunity development to implementation.
• Lead RFQ / RFP / tender processes, including requirements analysis, solution design, pricing, proposal development and commercial negotiation.
• Manage the full sales cycle from opportunity identification and qualification through contract negotiation and signing.
• Coordinate with Operations, Finance, Legal and Product teams to ensure successful project implementation and service delivery.
• Identify and develop incremental business opportunities within existing customer accounts.
• Monitor market trends across European e-commerce, retail, consumer electronics, automotive, furniture, fashion and industrial manufacturing sectors.
• Build and maintain target customer pipelines and industry networks across Europe.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to support European business development strategy and identify new growth opportunities.
