As a BMC Helix Administrator (Remote) at Müller’s Solutions, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing our BMC Helix environments. This remote position requires extensive knowledge of the BMC Helix platform, where you will be responsible for administering system configurations, managing user access, and ensuring high availability of our service management processes. You will collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders to implement best practices and streamline operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer BMC Helix applications, including workflows, dashboards, and reports, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Monitor system health and performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to minimize downtime.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users, facilitating the effective use of the platform.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Document system configurations, maintenance procedures, and best practices for future reference.
  • Analyze system functionalities and stakeholder needs to recommend enhancements and improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date on BMC Helix developments and contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT service management solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in administering BMC Helix or similar IT Service Management platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of BMC Helix architecture, components, and administration.
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management workflows within BMC Helix.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with remote teams and stakeholders.
  • BMC certifications or relevant training in ITSM are a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Ruby).
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with integration of BMC Helix with other enterprise applications.
  • Proven ability to mentor and train junior staff.
  • Proactive approach to system optimization and user support.
