BYD Europe BV in Italy seeks a proactive Sales Engineer to grow the BESS business with utilities and developers. You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing and coordinate with the Technical Solution team to ensure OTA/TAS readiness and grid compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in renewable energy sales or technical support, solid knowledge of energy storage systems, and excellent communication skills. Some travel to client sites is required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy technical support, sales, or project management.
• Strong understanding of energy storage systems and grid compliance (IEC/IEEE).
• Excellent communication skills to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement sales strategies to expand the BESS business with utilities and developers.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure.
• Collaborate with the Technical Solution team to ensure OTA/TAS readiness and grid-compliance for BYD Energy Storage products.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in the renewable energy sector.
• Ensure BESS installations meet local and international grid compliance standards.
