Job summary

Hotel La Palma in Capri invites you to join its teams as a Bellperson, delivering courteous guest assistance, handling luggage, escorting arrivals, and guiding guests from the port to the hotel. You will assist with check-in/check-out, arrange hydrofoil tickets and store baggage while sharing local information.

The role requires physical stamina, the ability to drive the hotel vehicle for scheduled rides, and long hours.

• Must maintain composure under pressure.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift in both indoor and outdoor spaces.
• Long hours are sometimes required.
• Heavy work- exerting up 50kg of force occasionally, and/or 25 kg of force frequently while lifting, carrying,-pushing, or pulling a luggage cart and otherwise moving objects.

Responsibilities

• Escort arrivals and assist guests with check-in/check-out from port to hotel.
• Handle luggage, provide local information, and arrange hydrofoil tickets.
• Support guest transportation needs and manage baggage storage.
• Keep accurate service records and ensure a courteous, attentive service.

Missions

The Bellperson ensure adherence to company values while providing courteous guest assistance, including escorting arrivals, handling luggage, arranging hydrofoil tickets, and offering local information. Perform errands, maintain a clean and safe environment, and operate company vehicles responsibly. Support guest transportation needs, manage baggage storage, and keep accurate service records—all while delivering friendly, attentive service. The main duties of the bellman are to assist guests with check-in/check-out procedures from the time of reception at the port until departure from the pier, to drive the hotel vehicle according to the scheduled rides and according to the guests' needs, and to welcome guests during their stay in an attentive, courteous, and friendly manner.
