Job summary

St. Regis Rome is seeking a temporary Banqueting Maitre to join the F&B team and deliver exquisite guest experiences. You will read banquet event orders, set up venues, supervise staff, and ensure safety, cleanliness, and professional service across shifts.

You will coordinate with the Banqueting Manager and other departments to meet guest requirements, manage inventories, and maintain brand standards while fostering teamwork and memorable moments for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet area/room and ensure cleanliness and proper setup of furniture/equipment.
• Monitor safety, sanitation, and organization of service areas and staff performance.
• Greet and assist guests, addressing service needs with professionalism.
• Coordinate with team to ensure seamless service and timely responses.
• Open and close duties, inventory, and stock replenishment.
• Follow safety policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions promptly.
