Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking an Audit and Process Quality Manager to lead our quality management systems and internal audit functions within Grid Automation Europe. This role supports compliance, continuous improvement, and high standards across operational processes, with a remote European team and collaboration with local teams.

You will apply Lean, Six Sigma, and ISO 9001 principles, develop audit programs, and mentor staff in quality practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) is highly preferred.
• Experience with quality tools and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, 8D).

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in accordance with relevant international standards and internal policies.
• Plan, execute, and oversee internal and external audit programs, including system/process/product audits.
• Identify areas for process improvement through audit findings and drive corrective actions.
• Lead cross-functional teams in process optimization using Lean and Six Sigma.
• Monitor KPIs and report insights to senior management for strategic decisions.
• Manage documentation and control of quality procedures and records.
• Provide training on quality management, audit methodologies, and process improvement tools.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and guidelines.
