Job summary

Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. is seeking an Audit and Process Quality Manager to lead and enhance our quality management systems and internal audit functions within Hitachi Energy, Grid Automation Europe.

This role is part of a remote European team and collaborates closely with local teams. You will develop, implement, and maintain the QMS, run audit programs, drive corrective actions, and lead lean/Six Sigma process improvements across operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
• Experience in quality management, auditing, or process improvement in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Proven ISO 9001 QMS development and maintenance; Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company's QMS in line with international standards.
• Plan, execute, and oversee internal and external audit programs.
• Identify improvement opportunities from audits and drive corrective actions.
• Lead cross-functional teams in lean and Six Sigma based process optimizations.
• Monitor KPIs and report insights to senior management for strategic decisions.
• Manage documentation and control of quality procedures and records.
• Provide training on quality management principles and audit methods.
