Job summary

Hitachi Energy Italy S.p.A. is seeking an Audit and Process Quality Manager to lead and elevate the QMS and internal audit programs across Hitachi Energy, Grid Automation Europe.

You will join a remote European team and collaborate with local teams to ensure compliance and drive continuous improvement. The role requires strong communication and analytical skills, experience with ISO 9001, Lean and Six Sigma, and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a related technical field.
• Experience in quality management, auditing, or process improvement roles.
• Certified Lead Auditor (ISO 9001) preferred.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and 8D problem solving.
• Fluent in English; Italian or Swedish is a merit.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the quality management system (QMS) per international standards.
• Plan and oversee internal and external audit programs.
• Identify process improvements from findings and drive corrective actions.
• Lead cross-functional teams in process optimization using lean/Six Sigma.
• Monitor KPIs and report to senior management for strategic decisions.
• Manage quality documentation and records.
