Job summary

Grundfos in Italy is seeking an Associate Service Sales Engineer who combines technical know‑how with commercial acumen, supporting customers with tailored service solutions and driving aftermarket sales for pumps and water technology.

You will identify service opportunities, prepare proposals including maintenance agreements and upgrades, collaborate with service engineers to scope solutions and quotations, and nurture long‑term relationships to maximize equipment performance and lifecycle

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
1-3 years of experience in a technical sales, service, or application engineering role.
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

Identify and develop service sales opportunities by engaging with customers to understand their operational needs and challenges.
Prepare and present tailored service proposals including maintenance agreements, retrofits, and upgrade solutions.
Collaborate with service engineers and technical teams to scope solutions and ensure accurate, competitive quotations.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits, follow-ups, and proactive outreach.
Support senior service sales engineers in managing key accounts and complex service projects.
